C.R.A.S.E (Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event)
Price - FREE upon request of a group or a company
Pewjitsu is committed to empowering everyday people with the knowledge, mindset, and practical tools needed to respond to an active shooter event. Our civilian response to active shooter training is designed for civilians, schools, businesses, and community organizations, focusing on what to do if the unthinkable happens and you find yourself in the middle of a violent encounter.
At the core of this training is the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004. This course is considered by the FBI as the national standard for active shooter response. CRASE provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter incidents, civilian response options, and critical medical considerations.
This training emphasizes awareness, decision-making under stress, and realistic response options that prioritize survival. Our goal is not to create fear, but to replace uncertainty with understanding and confidence—so people know how to recognize danger, move with purpose, protect themselves and others, and make informed choices when seconds matter most.
As part of our commitment to the community, Pewjitsu provides this training free of charge. We believe access to life-saving information should never be limited by cost. Our priority is simple: to give people a fighting chance in terrible situations and to help build safer, more prepared communities through education, responsibility, and proactive readiness.
